Newwave have produced design work for a number of Sustainable organisations, helping to promote their business through website design and build, branding, advertising, interpretation panels and printed literature

Sustainable Swansea - Green Map
Newwave interpreted data collected by volunteers and converted it into a visual map of 'green sites' in Swansea.
An illustrative approach referencing important landmarks added character to the map and gave a fun feel to this community project.

Down to Earth
Down to Earth Project is a social enterprise specialising in Sustainability Education and Natural Building. As part of the design for their corporate identity, Newwave also designed an unusual website to break with convention and create an instant impact for Down To Earth. Welcoming character illustrations help introduce the work and ethos of Down To Earth, whilst maintaining a core brand throughout all of their communications.

Swansea Community Farm
Incorporating flash animation, illustration and photo manipulation, this site provides a hub for those associated with Swansea Community Farm. Frequent news updates keep the community up to date, with an events calendar ensuring people always know whats going on. This CMS site was designed to reflect the textures found on the farm, whilst remaining colourful and clearly outlining the different sectors within the farm.
Illustrated Interpretation Boards
Character based interpretation boards, ranging in size, help children and young people understand the joys of recycling.
The boards are used on site around the farm. The characters that we created act as virtual guides and accompany visitors through the farm, adding to the learning experience.

The Environment Centre Swansea
Our inital task was to create a simple recognisable, bilingual circular logo which contained the elements: sun, clouds, hills, and sea. We simplified each element to stylish, recognisable shapes. The circular feel reinforces the sustainable values of the organisation, with the modern colour palette helping to achieve a contemporary feel. Once the logo was complete, Newwave also designed web templates for the Environment Centre to populate themselves and exhibition banners. This ensured the style and branding continued throughout.

Swansea Environmental Education Forum
The SEEF network provides a wealth of knowledge, skills and experience offering a range of services and resources to schools, youth and adult groups, businesses, the general public and other organisations. Newwave worked with SEEF to design and build a website to facilitate communication between forum members, post events to various calendars and share latest news articles.
