The LERC (Lean Enterprise Research Centre) is the largest research centre held within Cardiff University, thus their knowledge, programmes and services are vast. This website enables them to compile all their resources into one database, allowing users to find the information relevant to them, quickly and easily.A document bank, broken down into a variety of sectors, allows for the immediate upload and publicity of recently published articles. An extensive drop down navigation system, latest news and events calendar, ensure the functionality of the site is very successful.
Another important feature to this site is the ability to allow various levels of access to both user and administrator. Staff are given their own level of access to allow them to view the 'Staff' area. Varying levels of administrators can add information to pre-defined areas of the site, allowing updates to be managed by any number of people.
The design is in-keeping with the Cardiff University site, whilst maintaining that the LERC is a brand within itself.
