hat We Offer

Commissioning designers can seem a daunting process. Here we have attempted to smooth the journey a little, providing a breakdown of the way in which we work and a typical way a project might run.

Take a look at our Design Process for a breakdown of each process within a typical project.

Fee's
The more conventional way of working with design consultancies. A fixed fee is charged for each stage of work involved with a commissioned project.
Retainers
Ideal for marketing support where our client requires an extension to their own team. A monthly payment is set covering agreed types of work. The retainer greatly reduces administration, by eliminating the need to generate quotations and invoices for each piece of work. This means we can respond quickly to clients requirements, giving them confidence in what they offer their customers. A fixed fee helps set budgets and spread costs through the year.
Royalties
For product design an agreed percentage of the sales income is paid to us. This can be preferable to our clients, when they wish to reduce initial project costs and risk, ensuring their ideas get realised. We take a greater risk with a view to a higher return. This route also provides the advantage of having the on-going support and commitment, after all the better the products do - the better we do.

Working Together

Website Maintenance
Websites can vary greatly as to how often they require up-dating. A maintenance agreement suits those who's sites require frequent up-dates, without the hassle of having to cost each bit of work. For some sites keeping the content fresh can be crucial.
Time Sheet
We have an accurate time sheet system running where we can monitor the time spent on projects and charge accordingly. This we have setup to enable us to do small stages of work that would not justify generating quotations or where the work is difficult to cost. The time sheet approach also means there is no administrative delay in commencing the work.
