Web design and marketing for a governing body of lean methodology
Lean Competency Systems (LCS) was born out of the lack of structure for providing lean training and qualifications. With so many ways in which lean methodology can be taught, from on-the-job training through to specialist courses, LCS provides a level grading system to help lean practitioners demonstrate their understanding of lean, and enable organisations to provide accredited training.
We have worked with Simon at LCS for around 18 years and we have loved seeing his business flourish, working with the likes of AXA, Aviva and Asos (and that’s just the ones starting with ‘a’). As one of our longest standing clients he has utilised nearly all our services at various stages in his business’s growth and continues to work with us on a marketing retainer.
A sophisticated website that brings simplicity to a complex field
Over the years we have re-designed and rebuilt the website several times. With each iteration we have positioned the LCS brand as a leader in the industry and refined the content to provide clear pathways for individuals looking to demonstrate their lean capability, as well as organisations looking to accredit their training programmes.
The site boasts a range of carefully planned service pages, video and resource sections, membership features, as well as a custom-built social network comparable to Linkedin, where users can engage in community forums, manage their public profile, and add digital credentials.
Custom CPD platform
In a recent addition to the website’s capabilities, we worked closely with Simon to design and build a unique custom CPD platform which is accessible to premium registered users. Premium practitioners can manage their A3 plan, containing a set of measurable learning targets for the year, as well as log CPD activities against their learning targets and then reflect on activity progress at key stages through the year.
The system allows users to request endorsement and includes a range of automation tools that reminds CPD practitioners to keep their A3 plan and CPD logs up to date.
