– Merthyr cluster are a community resource hub run by local healthcare professionals in Merthyr Tydfil. They provide trusted health advice, raise awareness of health initiatives and drive positive change in healthcare across Merthyr Tydfil.
We were approached to help build a website that gave members of the cluster a platform to provide vital information to local residents.
Support through signposting
One of the main challenges faced by members of the cluster is the lack of awareness as to what support is available, and where you go to get support. A key focus of the website is to help steer visitors to relevant, official information sources so that they know when they should seek help, and where to get it from.
Promoting health initiatives
Following launch of the website we have worked closely with cluster members to promote local and national health initiatives through blogs, promotional areas on the website and social media.
This acts as a resource for local healthcare providers to share, ensuring a consistent message is being delivered across the cluster.
