– Zorba Delicacies manufacture dips and deli fillers for the UK’s leading grocery retailers and foodservice operators. If you have purchased houmous from a supermarket, you have probably tried their products.
We were approached to provide a new website for the businesses that accurately reflected their dominant position in the UK market. Accompanying lifestyle photography was also commissioned for use on the website.
Capturing the essence of Zorba
Zorba Delicacies had humble beginnings. It was founded by a Greek Cypriot national who was living in North London and noticed houmous was not widely available. They have since grown into being a leading food manufacturer in the UK with over 300 staff.
We helped Zorba to capture the story of their service, from their buyers’ trips to street food markets, through to chefs creating new recipes in the kitchen and mass production of handmade quality soups.
We also arranged and shot a lifestyle photography session in the award-winning Hardwick restaurant, with models enjoying various dips and soups. The photography has proven to be an essential asset bank, breathing life into internal and external marketing communications.
An image led, magazine style website
Having such a beautiful range of imagery, we opted for a grid-based website that has alternating image and content blocks.
The font choice and block spacing gives web visitors a similar feeling to browsing a high-end food magazine, whilst providing the flexibility to show off product ranges and showcase core brand values. A careers section lets job seekers know when there are positions available so that they can apply online.
The news section helps Zorba to keep suppliers, staff, and clients in the loop with the latest innovations and developments.
