Fluidmaster

The leading supplier of flush valves in the UK. We have supported Fluidmaster with branding, packaging and point of sale units. We were first asked to look at creating packaging that had a much stronger appeal than their current ranges being sold in B&Q. As we set about understanding their brand hierarchy, we spotted that this first needed work. So, we set about creating clear differentiation between each of the brands and product ranges. Only then could we set about creating consumer packaging.

Restyling and re-branding

The get the re-branding right, we reviewed their full product brands and Torbeck needed to be positioned in the consumer/mass-market bracket. With this in mind we went for a bold, friendly and non specialist feel. This would help consumers have the confidence in fitting this product themselves.

A strong shelf precense

The stricking contrasts of the dark fronts to the green sides, help these products have fantastic shelf shout.

Producing a consistent range

Creating a consistent look and feel for a product range is no easy task, but this is where magic happens. We work across the whole range to ensure the shortest to the longest product names fit and the key messages and imagery scale proportionately to the packaging. A obsessional eye for detail is needed to pull it off, and this is where we excel.

Modernising their brand

The block font contrasted with the illustrative mark worked really well at a smaller scale, and helped project a modern look for this consumer market.

Developing brand guidelines

To help the internal marketing department and external agencies, we created brand guidelines that help keep consistency across all packaging and marketing materials.
